About

I'm an Applied Scientist II at JPMorgan Chase with 2+ years of experience conducting Applied AI research in Payments Fraud Prevention. My current work lies at the intersection of Graph ML, Contrastive Learning and Sequence Modeling, where I focus on developing robust ML models and pipelines for high-volume and high-velocity real-world payment transactions.

In the Payments Fraud Prevention team, I lead efforts in conducting fundamental research on the theory and science of Gradient Boosting and Semi-Supervised Graph ML models to capture anomalies in transactional networks. My work spans across Computational Linguistics, Entity Resolution (Record Linkage), and Ranking-based models (Learning-to-Rank) and scalable MLOps — using tools like Spark, MLflow, and AWS to productionize experimental models. I've also prototyped Fraud pipelines using Transformer-based Encoders & Decoders, and built internal benchmarks using Self-Supervised Contrastive Pre-Training.

I graduated with a B.Tech in Computer Science from SRM Institute of Science and Technology in 2023, with a specialization in Big Data. During my undergrad, I pursued research internships in Applied NLP at Samsung Research where I worked on the quantization of a Word Disambiguation model for Samsung Bixby, and in Human-Centered AI at the Accessible Computing Lab (ACT), McGill University, where my efforts were aligned towards AAC-based research.

I am passionate about building ML systems that are rigorous, reproducible, and grounded in theory, while being engineered for deployment at scale. I'm particularly interested in working with professors focused on explainable ML, efficient GNNs, transformer-based models, or fairness and accountability in AI.

Let's connect if you're building something at the intersection of learning, reasoning, and responsible AI.

Research Interests

My core research interests lie at the intersection of Computational Linguistics, Natural Language Processing, Semantic Modeling, Human-Computer Interaction, Human-Centered AI, Causality, and Explainability. I focus on designing NLP systems that are interactive, explainable, and adaptable to diverse user needs—especially in contexts like Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Accessible Computing, and Assistive Language technologies. I'm currently seeking Research Assistantship opportunities where I hope to contribute to cutting-edge work in the areas of:
